Following its official launch, the countdown to Bristol Harbour Festival 2012 is well underway. A variety of circus, dance, music and theatre acts will be heading to the harbourside for three days of festive fun from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 July 2012.
Be charmed by the magnificent flotilla making waves across Bristol's harbourside.
In attendance at this year's festival are Royal Navy clearance vessel HMS Cattistock, a wonderful selection of steamboats, and The Matthew, who returns to Bristol following her appearance at the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
Challenge Wales, the 72-ft round-the-world yacht and the largest sail training vessel in the Bristol Channel, will also be open to the public during the weekend.
You can also see the Newfoundland dogs putting on a variety of rescue displays, Bristol's fire-float Pyronaut and a boat race by the Young Shipwrights.
