International Balloon Fiesta 2012

Throughout the Fiesta weekend the sky above Ashton Court will be filled with hot air balloons. Mass ascents will take place as follows:
Thursday 9th August - 6.00pm: Special Shapes Launch
Friday 10th - 6.00am and 6.00pm: Mass ascent
Saturday 11th - 6.00am and 6.00pm: Mass ascent
Sunday 12th - 6.00am and 6.00pm: Mass ascent
During the Fiesta you can follow the latest flight information via their Twitter feed, Facebook page or by calling the Visitor Hotline.
Nightglows and Fireworks
This year the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta will host two spectacular Nightglows and Firework Displays on Thursday 9th and Saturday 11th August.
Both displays will feature 30 or so balloons, glowing in time to music, with a spectacular Firework Finale - kindly sponsored by Skyburst Fireworks.
Important Information regarding the Clifton Suspension Bridge
The Clifton Suspension Bridge will be closed to all vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians during the evenings of the two nightglows, Thursday 9th and Saturday 11th August 2012. It will be closed from 6.00pm, reopening at 2.00am the following morning.
